Course C-1A – Survey the New Testament, part 1
The goals of the class and textbook fall into two categories: intellectual and attitudinal. The intellectual goals are to (1) present the factual content of each book of the New Testament, (2) introduce historical, geographical, and cultural backgrounds, (3) outline hermeneutical principles, and (4) touch on critical issues. The attitudinal goals are also: (1) to help make the Bible a part of student's lives, (2) to instill in students a love for the Scriptures, (3) to make them better people, (4) to enhance their piety, and (5) to stimulate their love for God. In short, this text builds a foundation for a lifetime of encountering God through scriptural study. Course C-1B – Survey the New Testament, part 2
Part 2 of Survey the New Testament will complete our study of the New Testament and move of us toward achieving the intellectual and attitudinal goals outlined above. Survey the New Testament is not required but would be helpful. Course E-2 - Creation Worldview
