First Baptist Church is committed to finishing the work of Jesus
Christ by becoming His fully devoted followers through worship,
fellowship, discipleship, evangelism and ministry. As a matter of fact,
you just read our church's mission statement.
At Romeo, we believe that going to church should be an event that everyone - kids and adults of all ages can look forward to. With that in mind, we've planned our services to be relaxed and informal, without the stress of wondering what the person next to you might be thinking about you.
Our church is designed to be a place
where anyone, no matter what your past or present situation may be, can
feel comfortable and welcome. We accept you the way you are, with no
strings attached.
Newcomers: We
hope to help you understand the message of Christ and its relevance to
your life. This church exists for you! We welcome you to engage in a
spiritual journey with us as you investigate Christianity and seek the
truth about God.
Members: Our
goal is to help you live effectively and joyfully in a relationship
with Christ. We believe that a strong daily walk with God can transform
every aspect of your life: work, play, family, priorities, values and
even personal emotions, struggles and habits. God changes everything!
Regular attendees: We
are not into church "audiences." Instead, we want to be a group of
people helping other people. We believe that every person in the church
has gifts and talents that need to be used to serve others. We here at
Romeo seek to equip church members to serve, instead of just allowing
them to observe. We invite you to come and grow with us.
